Letting Go So I Can Grow

Stepping Into a New Season

Summer came and summer went… just like that. Now we’re in a season where the leaves let go, fall to the ground, and return to the soil. And honestly? I feel like my life is mirroring that same rhythm right now.

This past season stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. Friendships shifted. A brand-new career opened up. I even made the decision to sell my home, something I never thought I’d do just a few months ago. It’s wild how life can flip the script when you least expect it.

But here’s the part I’m really leaning into:

Just like the trees, I’ve been letting things fall away.

Old habits.

Negative thoughts.

Toxic patterns.

Even people who weren’t meant to go with me into this next chapter.

It hasn’t been easy. Pushing through hard things never is. But it’s been necessary.

Because every leaf that falls makes room for something new to grow.

And this next season?

I’m claiming it boldly, a season of hope, joy, and new beginnings. A season where I walk lighter, dream bigger, and trust deeper than ever before.

If you’re reading this and feel like you’re shedding some leaves too… you’re not alone. Sometimes the letting go is the biggest sign that something beautiful is on its way.

Here’s to new seasons.

And here’s to the growth we can’t always see yet, but know is coming.
